In State Semis
In front of a large and energetic student section that dressed on point for a “Blackout,” the Patriots (43-16) took on New Trier last night in the AHAI State Semifinals. The game was close much of the way, but Stevenson took the loss 4-2, and was eliminated from the tournament. Ethan O’Gradney started off the scoring (assisted by Sean Yurkov) for Stevenson in the first period, putting one in the back of the net on a power play. Will Harlow scored the Patriots’ second goal in the beginning of the second period, going unassisted. New Trier answered soon after that, tying up the game and taking the lead for good in the second period. For a full gallery of photos from the game last night, please click here.
