We want to thank EVERYONE for their support of and participation in this year’s Black History Month activities. It is so core to our values that we amplify the voices of our incredibly diverse student body and remember that diversity – and our unique stories – are an asset to be embraced and celebrated.

Click here for a photo gallery of the month’s marquee event, Operation Black History Month. It was wonderful to see the amazing turnout of students coming together. And major kudos to the Black Student Union for a phenomenal effort planning this year’s events!
As we wind down on Winterfest and Black History Month, we are just getting started with another major unity event: our annual Anti-Racism and Inclusivity Week

Winterfest Week Fun Continues!

Are you ready, Patriots?? We are just a few short hours away from the Winterfest Pep Assembly, and our student-leaders have an amazing program lined up for you! Patriots will be dazzled with performances and appearances by S Factor, Senior Showcase and our spring sports teams. You will want to stick around for a surprise feature, as well…

In the meantime, if you’re not following us on Instagram, now might be a good time to give us a follow. Tomorrow, Brianna Shack will be taking the reins on the main Stevenson Instagram account to give us all a colorful take on all of the fun Pep Assembly and Winterfest Dance fun!

Shack is a four-year member of Student Council and a second-year officer currently in the role of Public Relations Officer. Shack created the Winterfest website for the students this year.

“Within Student Council, my job is to be the external form of communication to help promote school spirit and unity,” Shack said. Just a couple last minute reminders:

  • Please remember that today is the last day for early-bird pricing of $25 for the dance! Tickets are then $40 at the door. We hope to see everyone at the dance!
  • Our last theme day on Monday is Professional vs PJs. What will you do, Patriots? Keep it profesh or roll into school comfy? The choice is yours!
