Senior Show-Out: Seniors Set To Show Off Talents In Senior Showcase!
The name is new, but Friday’s Senior Showcase is sure to provide the same fun and entertainment that Stevenson students have come to expect from their fellow classmates.
Senior Showcase, formerly Mr. SHS, is a talent show that will include theatrical performances, stunning choreography and…magic!
Cheer on the 13 contestants from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. FRIDAY at the Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and tickets are $5 at the door.
The contestants are: Nate Duffy, Stephen Freihammer, Jonathan Gordan, Charlie Grabiner, Joey Kalou, Joshua Kanapkapudi, Shaurya Khati, Maxwell Linder, Arjun Nair, Siddharth Paleati, Vedant Rupwal, Samuel Voronenko and Daniel Xu.
The emcees for the event are: Ean Kim and Lekha Kothapalli.

See Signs Of Depression Or Suicide? Please ACT!
Each year, freshmen and junior students participate in Stevenson’s Signs of Suicide Prevention Program.
This is an opportunity for students to have a safe space to learn and talk about symptoms and warning signs for depression and suicide. Students will also take a short screener to assess their own symptoms of depression.
The main takeaway from this program is the message ACT (Acknowledge, Care, Tell). Students are encouraged to listen to someone who may be struggling with mental health concerns and then help that individual share that information with a trusted adult. It is a great reminder about something that our Stevenson community already does so well. We watch out for each other. When we are concerned, we show compassion and refer to an adult for support.
The freshmen program will be occurring in Advisories on either March 1, March 8 or March 15. The junior program will be in Communication Arts classes on either April 4, April 11 or April 18.
If you want more information or have questions or concerns about this upcoming program, please reach out to a member of your Student Support Team.
