Marketing Students Head North For Sports Lessons On Careers Day

It was a Bucks and Brewers Day earlier this month for students in marketing classes at Stevenson.

On Marketing Careers Day, the classes made stops at the Milwaukee Bucks and the Milwaukee Brewers. and heard from employees and were given tours.

First, students listened to a panel of Milwaukee Bucks employees about their roles within the sports franchise. Students asked questions about their backgrounds and experiences to gain valuable insight on what it would be like to work for a sports team. Then, students were given a VIP tour of Fiserv Forum. The second stop included touring the Milwaukee Brewers stadium, American Family Field, where students learned about sales promotions, sponsorships and the history of the team.

The day wrapped with the students returning to Fiserv Forum to take in the Bucks-Kings game.

This trip was a part of the sales promotions unit where students created sales promotions for a sports franchise of their choice.

New Patriot Dollars System Coming Soon!

Hey Patriots! This is your heads up that a new Patriot Dollars system is headed your way starting Second Semester!

The experience will be virtually the same: Students will still use their ID to make food and beverage or Patriot Superstore purchases at school. The only thing that will change is the platform families will use to add funds to their accounts.

Please be assured that all current funds will remain in students’ accounts during this transition. Additionally, while the experience is intuitive, we will also be providing more information at the beginning of Second Semester about how to transition to the new platform.

Stay tuned for more!
