Juniors: College Career Center Can Help You Plan Out Your Future!
Junior year is a big year: a time to start thinking seriously about life beyond Stevenson. College, majors, careers…the next steps.
Sure, it’s a lot! But, good news! The College Career Center has just program to help you sort through and manage all of your thoughts, ideas, goals and dreams.
CCC Night For Juniors is an in-person event starting at 7 p.m. on THURSDAY at the Performing Arts Center that will give juniors and their families tools for how to reflect on and develop conversations about the post-secondary journey. Students are highly encouraged to attend with a parent(s)/guardian(s).
Post-Secondary Counselors Sara English and Dan Miller and Career Program Specialist Dan Diambri will discuss ways students can further explore career options and options after high school as well as how to choose a college, how a college chooses its students and the next steps.
The event will also be live-streamed via a Zoom Webinar.
Best Of Stevenson Artwork On Display Today And Tomorrow!
Check out the best work of Stevenson’s Semester I art students TODAY and TOMORROW at the 2022 Winter ArtFest.
Each Fall, first-semester art students are invited to include one item created in each of their art classes to be viewed in the art show. Pieces will be staged in the Upper Forum and Room 2104.
TODAY, the artwork will be on display from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and a public reception will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
TOMORROW, the artwork will be on display from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
All visual art classes are represented in the art show. Teachers are encouraged to bring their classes to the art show any class period during the run of the show.

The Band is hosting a fundraiser at the Lincolnshire Noodles & Company (900 Milwaukee Ave.) TOMORROW.
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., 25 percent of all qualifying online and in-restaurant sales will go directly back to the Stevenson Band! If ordering online, enter GIVING25 at checkout.

Need some cuteness and comfort in your life? Stop by Room 6110 after school TODAY to visit with trained dogs!
Animal Welfare Club is hosting Canines 4 Comfort, a 501(c)3 organization that provides trained dogs to support mental health treatment and wellness.
Students Helping Soldiers Can Send Your Service Member A Holiday Care Package; Needs Addresses!
Do you know anyone actively serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines?
Students Helping Soldiers is making Holiday Care Packages to send to troops overseas…and the club needs service members’ addresses.
Please send addresses to Coach Moran or Coach Hutchins by THURSDAY. Care packages will be sent out on Friday.

Athletic Results
Girls Bowling: The Patriots (0-3) hosted conference opponent Waukegan and lost by 100 pins. Anna Reyes had a 483 series, with a game high of 181. Allison Parks contributed with a 163 in her third game and Alexis Alanis had a 155 in her first game for the Patriots. Next up for Stevenson is Mundelein at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday at Lakeside Lanes.
Girls Hockey: The Scout Co-op (1-8-1) played Metro League conference opponent Glenbrook on Sunday and tied, 2-2. Emerson Weismandle scored the first goal, assisted by Stevenson’s Vanessa Magsino. In the third period, Hannah Margulis scored on an assist by Vanessa Clavey. Next up for the team is Evanston at Lake Forest College at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Mark Your Calendars: Just a reminder to all Student-Athletes ~ If you have not attended the mandatory Student-Athlete meeting, there is one coming up on THURSDAY from 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the West Auditorium. Please be on time as the auditorium fills up quickly and the meeting will start promptly.
Girls Basketball: The 2022 State Champion Girls Basketball team will be playing Huntley on SATURDAY at 2 p.m. at the NOW Arena. Tickets are $10 for general admission.
Cheer and Dance: On SUNDAY, the Cheer and Dance teams are hosting the Patriot Challenge!
