Stevenson Boys Ice Hockey Giving Back to the Community
The Stevenson Boys Ice Hockey program has made giving back to the community and helping those in need a priority for this school year. The purpose of the partnership with community organizations is 1) to provide individual, team, and leadership development volunteer opportunities for the athletes, 2) to use the athletic program’s platform to give back to the school and local communities, and 3) to raise the visibility of the program. The three organizations that the Hockey program plans to partner with during the 2021-22 school year are the Stevenson FoundationGreat Lakes Adaptive Sports Association, and Reading Power. They have already volunteered with the Stevenson Foundation in two events this summer. Thank you to our ice hockey program and athletes for their commitment to others and our larger community!
