Visiting Artist Exhibition
The Stevenson Visiting Arts Program is a joint effort between the SHS Fine Arts Department and the Stevenson Foundation to connect students with professional artists. Each selected artist usually has their work on display in a West Building gallery for 6-8 weeks during the year. All students can view the exhibit and students in several visual arts classes hear from the artist during an in-person classroom visit. Members of the community also have the opportunity to view and learn from the artist during an ARTalk evening presentation.
This year, these exhibits are being shared virtually.
Entrepreneurial artist Sarah Stieber is the current Visiting Artist and her work can be viewed in this slideshow. Her biography and artist statement has been published on the Visiting Artists webpage.
