Junior Who Led Charity Drive Featured

The Lincolnshire Review published a feature on junior Trisha Patel, who coordinated last Tuesday’s second annual “Warmth to Homeless” charity drive. She and several schoolmates distributed 40 sleeping bags and toiletries to area homeless from the Urban Muslim Minority Alliance Center in Waukegan. Remaining items were donated to PADS Lake County and the Waukegan Housing Authority. Trisha’s helpers included her freshman brother, Neel Patel, his classmates, Spencer Glickson and Jonah Aristodemo, and junior Lauren Malenfant. Toiletries were donated by Aristo Dental in Wheeling. Trisha is the founder and president of the Illinois chapter of the International Association of Youth.
