SMARTdesk Advice: Run an iCloud Backup By Friday

Can your SHS iPad be located via iCloud? Check now before the long break! Take a minute to complete these steps:

  • Log into iCloud with your SHS Apple ID on the iPad and turn on “Find My iPad.”
  • On your SHS iPad’s home screen, tap Settings, then tap iCloud. If you’re asked to sign in, enter your SHS Apple ID. Example: abrowns8@students.d125.org with as password of Shs########. If Find My iPad is turned off, tap to turn it on.
  • When you set up Find My iPad, Activation Lock is turned on automatically. Activation Lock makes it harder for anyone to use or sell your iPad if it’s ever lost or stolen.

The SMARTdesk will be closed during Winter Break. You are strongly recommended to run an iCloud backup before Friday. If you need help, visit the SMARTdesk. If you are having a problem, email nhudson@d125.org.
